We’re a volunteer-driven nonprofit just getting started — which means every person who steps up has an outsized impact. We’re building something meaningful here, and we’d love your help shaping it from the ground up.
Ways to Help
Find Your Way to Make a Difference
Volunteer
Help us assemble care bags, assist at events, or support behind the scenes. We’re building our volunteer team now — sign up to be among the first to get involved when we launch our volunteer program.
No experience required. Flexible scheduling. Individuals, families, and groups welcome.
Donate Items
We accept new, unused items that go directly into our Family Care Bags — things like blankets, toiletries, snacks, journals, kids’ activities, and more. Every item helps fill a bag with comfort.
All items must be new and sealed. Please contact us before donating so we can share what’s most needed.
Host a Drive
Rally your workplace, school, church, or community group around a collection drive for care bag items — or organize a fundraising event on our behalf. We’ll provide guidance and materials to make it easy.
Great for team-building, service projects, Scout troops, youth groups, and community organizations.
Corporate & Business Sponsorship
Partner with Heart of Grace through sponsorship, in-kind support, or employee giving programs. We offer recognition opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful, local impact for families in your community.
We welcome partnerships of all sizes and are happy to customize an arrangement that fits your organization.
Hospital Partnerships
We partner with hospitals and medical facilities in the greater Omaha area that serve pediatric patients with extended stays. Our partners help identify families in need and coordinate bag delivery through their social work and child life teams.
Partnerships are formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding. We handle everything — your staff simply refers families who qualify.
